FRAMED (1989)

It’s pretty ho-hum through most of it, but two of the stand out scenes both feature Yukari. As an aerobics instructor in a pink and black form fitting work out leotard she takes on Alex Man and pretty easily whips up on him. You finally get to see what great physical shape she’s in, thanks to her outfit.

Framed (1989, Hong Kong, dir. Alex Cheung Kwok-Ming)
with Alex Man, Simon Yam, Ray Lui, Shum Wai, Yukari Oshima, Joseph Lee, Wong Yu and more.

A PUNCH TO REVENGE (1989)

A Punch to Revenge (1989, Hong Kong, dir. Lee Chiu) 3.5/5
with Ben Lam, Yukari Oshima, Eddy Ko, Cheung Man-Ting, Chan Ging, Stanley Fung,  and more.
A PUNCH TO REVENGE (1989)

"...This has a category listed as action, but I look at it more as a Crime Drama with some good action in it. They’re definitely trying to make a statement here while still delivering some HK-style action, and depth of these characters is more than you usually see in a small, low budget film. It’s a pretty entertaining all around..."

BURNING AMBITION (1989)

"...The fight scene that starts in the restaurant and finishes in the garage with Yukari and Kara Wai taking on a big gang is easily the best scene in the movie. Besides her usual fighting, Yukari makes great use of a baseball bat..."
BURNING AMBITION (1989)

"...What sets it apart is some really great fight/action sequences highlighted by the talent involved; Yukari Oshima and Kara Wai taking on a gang in a parking garage; Frankie Chan and his ‘Holland’ posse taking on a rival gang in the Ho Chuck Palace Restaurant; and everyone going at it in the 15 minute amusement park fight..."
CLOSE ESCAPE (1989)

"...The big fight at the end is especially brutal amongst all of the main characters and features Yukari squaring off with Dick Wei. She holds her own for a bit but takes quite a beating. Still, for a small, lesser-known movie, this is a pretty bad ass fight scene and worth looking for!..."
CLOSE ESCAPE (1989)

Yukari Oshima vs Dick Wei

Original Tai Seng VHS Box

"...Most of the movie moves at a quick pace, as the basic story unfolds, with just a slight lull in the middle. There’s plenty of bouts of action and violence throughout and this is a pretty entertaining little lesser-known movie of the era..."

FINAL RUN (1989)

Yukari Oshima

There are other decent small fights throughout, but it’s a full hour into the movie before we see Yukari kick some butt (along side Dick Wei).
FINAL RUN (1989)

Yukari Oshima and Dick Wei

A serious crime drama, shot on a very small budget, Final Run is intense and straight forward with sporadic bursts of fights and an entertaining finale.

IRON ANGELS (1987)

Moon Lee and Yukari Oshima

Moon Lee battles with Yukari Oshima in a classic fight!

IRON ANGELS (1987)

Yukari Oshima

Yukari’s character is listed as ‘Yeung’ or ‘Madam Yeung’, but as ’Sue’ on English dubbed copies. She makes for a great villain!
IRON ANGELS (1987)

Angel (Iron Angels) did HK $8.1 Million at the Box Office, running from 10/03/1987 to 10/22/1987 - not even top 20 at the Box Office - 3 years earlier it would’ve been a Top 10 movie with the showing, but… it inspired a whole new genre of HK movies!
